Breathing therapy – Breathe freely, live consciously

Breathing is far more than just oxygen intake – it forms the bridge between body and mind. Every emotion is reflected in our breathing rhythm: stress accelerates it, calm slows it down, fear slows it down, and joy sets it flowing. Because breathing is directly connected to our emotional experience, we can also influence our well-being through conscious breath control. Deep and calm breathing promotes relaxation, while incorrect or shallow breathing can cause discomfort such as nervousness, dizziness, or chest pain.

Learning healthy breathing techniques can therefore not only create inner peace, but also positively influence physical processes – even alleviating symptoms of respiratory diseases such as asthma or COPD.

Breathing therapy is therefore a gentle, effective way to strengthen the natural connection between body and soul – and to promote long-term health, inner peace and quality of life.

The power of proper breathing

Incorrect or restricted breathing can cause physical discomfort such as chest pain, dizziness, restlessness, or nervousness.

Conversely, learning healthy breathing techniques can help.

  • to support physical healing processes

  • to alleviate psychosomatic disorders

  • as well as to alleviate depression or panic attacks in respiratory diseases such as asthma or COPD.

Understanding and consciously controlling your breathing provides a powerful tool for improving health, quality of life, and emotional balance. The benefits of long, deep breathing

Conscious, deep breathing acts like medicine for body and mind:

  • Relaxation & stress reduction: Relieves tension and promotes inner peace.

  • Health & Resilience: Improves oxygen supply, strengthens lungs and immune system.

  • Mood & Emotions: Supports the balancing of anxieties and depressive moods.

  • Energy & Clarity: Increases concentration, alertness and inner balance.

  • Healing & Balance: Releases physical and mental blockages, supports personal development.

Goals of respiratory therapy

  • Easier, more efficient breathing

  • Promoting relaxation & sleep quality

  • Strengthening body awareness and increasing vitality

For whom is respiratory therapy beneficial?

  • Chronic respiratory diseases (e.g. asthma, COPD, bronchitis)

  • Post-/long-term Covid symptoms (shortness of breath, fatigue, reduced lung capacity)

  • Psychosomatic stress (stress, anxiety, hyperventilation)

  • Sleep disorders & snoring

  • Prevention & strengthening of the immune system

Process & Implementation

Breathing therapy takes place flexibly in your home or online. Each session is individually tailored to you and combines group exercises with targeted "homework" for your everyday life.

  • Individual appointment (30 min): Initial consultation, breathing analysis, 1–3 exercises + instructions for home use

  • Exercise series (3-5 sessions): Introduction to various breathing techniques, development of an individual exercise plan, integration of relaxation and breathing methods into everyday life.

Your own work is an essential component: only through regular practice between sessions can lasting improvements be achieved.
